To ensure themgood health and survival of children, it is highly recommended to educate them about the importance of practicing proper hygiene, including regular handwashing with soap and water.

About Us

Women & Youth Future Assist Organization (WYFAO)

Women & Youth Future Assist Organization (WYFAO) is a non-profiting, non–governmental and non–political organization that is mainly involved in humanitarian and developmental activities and serves the people in need. WYFAO was founded back in 2016 by a group of young Afghan professionals with high spirit of helping and shaping lives in Afghanistan. WYFAO was established to play a prominent role in addressing the actual needs of poor people and enable all Afghans speak for their rights and have an enabling environment for their development and prosperity.

Mission

WYFAO’s mission is to reach out to people especially in rural areas of Afghanistan and provide social services, build their capacity and promote participative approaches to respond to social and economic challenges and provide humanitarian assistance in times of need.

Vision

WYFAO’s vision is to see an Afghanistan where communities are: Informed, educated, cooperative, collaborative, resilient, self-helping who can resolve their social and economic challenges on their own and withstand the hardships of time.

Humanitarian

Humanitarian and developmental services for people in need. WYFAO plays a leading role in transforming the humanitarian sector by putting gender at the center of our responses.

Education & Development

Through advocacy, individuals are able to foster a sense of community and solidarity in order to promote their cause to the wider public.

Child Protection

Every kid has the right to be free from all types of abuse, exploitation, and violence. Therefore, it is the obligation of WYFAO to guarantee the safety of children in all of its projects, activities, and policies.

Women Rights

WYFAO’s target is to achieve a level of sustainable community development with respect to gender equality, in a context of good governance and decentralization, and where the majority of the population has access to basic social services.

Women Empowerment

WYFAO’s leadership are consisted of like-minded people, united on the basis of shared vision of gender justice. Its leadership comprises women rights activists, with background of active struggle for social justice and women empowerment in Afghanistan.
