At the initiative of WYFA Organization, medical teams have been dispatched to the earthquake-affected areas of Kunar Province to provide emergency primary health assistance to those impacted by the recent earthquake.
The earthquake, which struck two days ago in various parts of Kunar, including Chawkay and Nurgal districts - unfortunately caused significant human and financial losses. Given the severity of the situation, WYFAO decided to mobilize its technical and medical teams to prepare for emergency response.
So far, dozens of affected individuals have received primary medical care from the health teams, and this support will continue until sufficient assistance has been delivered to those in need.
Additionally, WYFAO's technical teams are conducting needs assessments in the affected areas to help provide the essential resources that earthquake survivors require urgently.
