Job Description:
Specific Duties
Develop and monitor all regional educational programs and plan all education events and participate in seminars and workshops and coordinate with various departments for all marketing events.
Prepare and maintain documents for all education plans and implement and maintain all administrative processes as per the WYFAO policies and approve all chapters for various students.
Perform auditions for all public performances and assist all faculty and staff members in all education programs and provide training to all staff members.
Prepare and maintain all comprehensive records for all education programs and provide training to all staff members and monitor all child
development and educational programs.
Observe and maintain records of children's progress and maintain all transition procedures for all child care settings and develop all annual budgets
Design and maintain the budget of all education programs and maintain professional relationships with all employees and officials and ensure incorporation of all special students into the program.
Train all staff and family to assist all special children and coordinate with various consultants for same and evaluate all home study programs for various students.
Evaluate all applications for candidates and perform troubleshooting on manage all applications and assist in all orientation programs
The Education Coordinator is responsible for overseeing educational programs and delivery of education programs within the facility.
Primary responsibilities include education plan development including but not limited to literacy, math, civics, and history, and the instruction of those
courses, the use of testing and examinations, and providing feedback on student progress.
Duties include tracking education progress of each student through testing and evaluation.
Testing should specifically focus on literacy for language classes and knowledge of math, civics and history
Any other related task that assigned by the line manager
Managerial Tasks
The Education Coordinator will produce metrics to document program progress.
The Education Coordinator will review existing curricula and develop new curricula as needed.
Ensure delivery methods include a variety of visual, audio, and action-based formats.
Implement a schedule of classes that is consistent with employment practices of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Provide substitutes in the event teachers are unable to meet scheduled class times.
Oversee training classes, sessions, and programs of instruction.
Prepare effective training tools, texts books, and training aids.
Coordination:
Coordinate with managers and supervisors to prepare conference schedules and participate in various training events and ensure compliance with all
IEA regulations and coordinate with the museum, director to determine effective education program schedule.
Assist in all admission processes and monitor all direct mailings and phone all strategies and monitor and respond to all student information requests.
The Education Coordinator will report to the Program Manager for program goals, tasks, and daily requirements consistent with a duly executed Statement of work (SOW)
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum five years of experience in education with experience working in education administration or management NGO’s , UN, UN funded Projects or similar
2. Must be certified to teach in Afghanistan or produce an equivalent certification in accordance with MOE standards. Certification must be provided prior to hiring.
3. Teaching credential, or bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with major course work in science, education or related field is required. Masters degree preferred.
4. Must proficiently speak, read, and write Pashtu, Dari, and English
