Job Description:
Job Summary: The main responsibilities of the Education Field Supervisor include coordinating field operations, ensuring the successful implementation of educational programs, and supporting and supervising the partners and employees of educational projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
Organize and manage the day-to-day fieldwork for education programs, making sure it complies with the goals of the project.
Create and manage a thorough project work plan, and make sure it is carried out on time.
Supervision and Support:
Help project workers, including teachers, facilitators, and volunteers, by directing, supervising, and encouraging them.
Perform routine field inspections to keep an eye on project staff members' performance and capacity-building requirements.
Stakeholder Participation:
In order to develop good relationships and guarantee project buy-in, collaborate with local educational authorities, schools, community leaders, and key stakeholders.
Represent the group at regional forums and meetings for coordination.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality and effectiveness of education interventions by conducting regular assessments and reviews.
Identify and address challenges and issues related to program implementation.5.Resource Management:
Resources for the project, such as materials, supplies, and equipment, are tracked and managed.
Make sure resources are used appropriately and effectively. 6.Reporting and Documentation:
Create and provide frequent progress reports, including narrative and financial reports, to the project manager for education.
Keep thorough records of your field activities, costs, and beneficiary information.7. Capacity Development
Determine the project team's training and capacity-building needs and organize the appropriate training sessions.
Encourage the project team to have a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth.
Job Requirements:
Experience/ Education.
Bachelor's degree in Education, International Development, or a related field.
Proven experience in education project management, including field supervision roles.
Strong knowledge of education systems, pedagogical approaches, and community engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) methodologies and data analysis.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Commitment to gender equality, inclusivity, and community empowerment.
Familiarity with relevant policies and regulations in the education sector.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Dari and Pashto.
