Job Description:
Job Summary: Site Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure the successful execution of the construction project and will be responsible for leading on-site teams, implementing quality control measures, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Experience/ Education.
Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a site supervisor in construction projects.
Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Proficient in the use of construction management software.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Dari and Pashto.
